Kuo, Y.-C., & Kuo, Y.-T. (2025). An Exploratory Study of K-12 Teachers’ Perceptions of Adopting Open Educational Resources in Teaching. Education Sciences, 15(4), 468. https://doi.org/10.3390/educsci15040468

Summary: This study employed qualitative and quantitative survey analysis of 27 teachers in the north-eastern United States to understand K-12 teachers' perceptions of Open Educational Resources (OER). The study concludes that the teachers have positive feelings about the prospects of increasing OER adoption in their teaching. Confirming previous research, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of OERs are positively correlated with the likelihood that that teacher will adopt them in their teaching. Exploring a lesser researched factor, the authors also identified that the teachers' self-efficacy in integrating technology in the classroom also plays an important role.
