Mosharraf, M. (2024). Introducing open educational resources typology to digital libraries. Open Learning: The Journal of Open, Distance and e-Learning, 1–20. https://doi.org/10.1080/02680513.2024.2362673

Summary: A systematic review of published articles supplemented by interviews with domain experts produced a list of over 90 OER types. The author divided these types into three overarching categories including educational content, software, and complementary materials. Identifying various types of OER begins to provide an infrastructure for both human and machine use for research, teaching, analyses, synthesis, and more.
